Southside MMA is fortunate enough to be able to boast Australian, New Zealand, Pan Pacific and International Champions who are also Instructors in their programs.

Guest Instructors have also included: Bruno Alves (Gracie Barra) BJJ World Champion, Antonio Carlos Junior (Checkmat) 2 x BJJ World Champion, Robert Drysdale (BJJ World Champion), Kit Dale (Australian BJJ World Champion), Brian Ebersole (UFC Fighter), Lee Morris (Close Combat Specialist) plus many more. The team at Southside MMA are always looking to help students grow. As such we try our best to bring International Instructors for half day or full day seminars every 3 months.

SOUTHSIDE MMA HISTORY

Southside MMA has come a long way since their incorporation from in a little rented church in Slacks Creek back in August 2010. There was little in the way of any grappling arts in Brisbane.

In 2011 the Southside MMA Team placed 3rd overall in the state Jiu Jitsu competition. In 2012 Southside MMA took out First Place and followed it up with another First place in 2013 and 2014! It is thanks to our highly motivated coaches, whom themselves are still actively competing & train daily with all students.
